A method of transmitting an overhead message via a control channel which has at least one slot is disclosed. More specifically, a base station (BS) transmits an overhead slot cycle index for providing the overhead message to a mobile station (MS) and thereafter, receives the overhead slot cycle index and determining an overhead slot cycle. Furthermore, the BS transmits the overhead message on a first slot of each overhead slot cycle according to a variable duration of the slot, and then receives the overhead message from the first slot of each overhead slot cycle according to the variable duration of the slot.
Un procédé de transmission d'un message en suspension au moyen d'un canal de commande présentant au moins un créneau. Plus particulièrement, une station de base (BS) transmet une fréquence cyclique de créneau en suspension destinée à acheminer le message en suspension à une station mobile (MS) et reçoit, par la suite, la fréquence cyclique de créneau en suspension de manière à déterminer un cycle de créneau en suspension. En outre, la BS transmet le message en suspension sur un premier créneau de chaque cycle de créneau en suspension d'après la durée variable du créneau, puis reçoit le message en suspension en provenance du premier créneau de chaque cycle de créneau en suspension d'après la durée variable du créneau.
