ABSTRACT Joint or consultative modification of original copy (such as typewritten or print/graphic material) usu- ally involves one party modifying the original or a photocopy, then passing/delivering the altered material to a second party for response. In the subject inven- tion, a clear plastic flap of distinctive design is employed to facilitate the process of joint modifi- cation in a manner that increases efficiency, conserves resources, and facilitates precise communication. The flap has two principal features, -- a graph with alpha-numeric co-ordinates, and a type of corner pocket that positions and stabilizes the graph in relation to the underlying sheet or page. The appli- cations are diverse. The invention can be used for inter-telephone modification of draft documents, and in conjunction with private or commercial facsimile communications, workbooks in education, photocopy machines, and overhead transparencies.
