TRANSPARENT SILICONE EMULSIONS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Optically clear silicone emulsions and methods of providing such emulsions are obtained from linear polysiloxane oils or volatile cyclic polysiloxane starting materials by adding effective amounts of an optical index adjusting agent selected from water soluble polyols and polyethers. These transparent silicone emulsions can be further combined with cosmetic and medicinal agents as desired.
