-37- ABSTRACT This invention relates to a method of transporting and inhibiting the deposition of copper and copper-iron materials on heat transfer devices in steam generating systems. This method utilizes a thermally stable chelant and a carboxylated polymeric dispersant as the treatment agents. Representative chemicals are 1,10-phenanthroline and 9:1 methacrylic acid/acrylic acid copolymer.
