To make the transport and storage system (1) suitable, in a simple way, for use in clean room areas especially, it has a support device (7) with a connecting device (8) whose shoulders (19, 20) form a clamping and sealing channel (22) that runs along all the leading edges (3-6) of the goods holding device.
