ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A transport device for an agricultural drill is disclosed. Individually mounted, hydraulically actuated transport wheels are described. The transport wheels may be lowered in order to raise the drill to allow movement in a direction perpendicular to the ordinary operating direction of the drill. A mounting system for the wheels which absorbs shocks along three axes is described. Co-action between a coupling device and a hitch device which allows the drill to be transported over uneven ground is also disclosed.
