ABSTRACT A transport for heavy loads having a caterpillar mounted carrier with a hydraulic cylinder extending between it and a lifting platform. A concave bearing ring on the cylinder abuts on a spherically shaped support on the carrier to transfer load forces in the retracted position of the piston. A further pair of hydraulic cylinders are connected between the bearing ring and the carrier to adjust the position of the lifting platform and swivel it.
