TITLE OF THE INVENTION: TRANSPORT MEANS AND CONNECTOR FOR USE THEREWITH ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A transporter for bottles or similar containers, and including at least one transport element with a frame that rests upon the ground or the floor via base portions. Connectors are provided to connect the frame with the base portions and/or to connect lengths of a profiled member that form the base portions. Each connector has two parts of at least a portion of a steel plate and is produced by permanent deformation to form portions that extend around two lengths of a profiled member that are disposed perpendicular to one another and are interconnected by the connector.
