ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A transportable and collapsable bag holding cart for use in collecting and conveying materials such as bedding, laundry or trash in a hotel, hospital or the like is presented. The cart is provided with a slidable cover assembly for easy opening and closing. Also, VelcroTM-type self-adhesive strips and bag re- tension safety bars are provided to prevent plastic and cloth bags from slipping under a load. Finally, the cart is foldable for easy storage and is self contained when folded or in use. Various attachments including a multi-cart connecting device and additional basket assemblies are also presented herein.
