A transurethral needle ablation device (31) for use by a human hand to treat the prostate of a human male. The device includes a cartridge assembly (33) having an elongate probe member (36) and a stylet (62). The elongate probe member has proximal and distal extremities (36a, 36b) and is provided with a passageway (38) extending from the proximal extremity to the distal extremity. The stylet is slidably mounted in the passageway of the elongate probe member. A housing (121) is included in the device. The cartridge assembly is removably mountable on the housing. An assembly (146) adapted for actuation by the human hand is carried by the housing and coupled to the proximal extremity of the stylet for causing the distal extremity of the stylet to extend into the tissue of the prostate.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'aiguille de résection transurétrale (31) permettant une intervention à main d'homme sur la prostate de l'homme. Ce dispositif comporte un ensemble cartouche (33) pourvu d'un élément sonde de forme allongée (36) et d'un stylet (62). L'élément sonde de forme allongée, qui est défini par son extrémité proximale (36a) et son extrémité distale (36b), est pourvu d'un canal (38) joignant l'extrémité proximale à l'extrémité distale. Ce stylet est monté coulissant dans le canal de l'élément sonde de forme allongée. Le dispositif contient un logement (121). L'ensemble cartouche se monte amovible sur le logement. Un ensemble (146) conçu pour être animé à main d'homme est supporté par le logement et couplé à l'extrémité proximale du stylet de façon à amener l'extrémité distale du stylet à pénétrer dans la masse tissulaire de la prostate.
