Abstract Trapeze system for a sailing vessel has a pair of rigid hanging members for connection at their upper ends to oppo- site sides of the upper end of the mast of the vessel. Webbing with rings or apertures, or other means for releasa- bly engaging a trapeze harness or harness hook, are connec- ted on the hanging members. The rigid members provide hand holds for the user and facilitate manipulation of the tra- peze system to allow the user to connect his trapeze harness to the hanging members.
