ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A travelling toy for multitrack toy roadways having a pair of motor-driven wheels arranged on the travelling-toy chassis, a pair of freely rotatable wheels, and a guide-pin engaging on grooves in the toy roadway. The guide-pin is arranged, in order to make it possible to change tracks, to be longitudinally displaceable between an inner and an outer terminal position in the chassis of the travelling toy, while the pair of wheels adjacent the said guide-pin is adapted to pivot for steering. Furthermore, when the pair of wheels is in the straight-ahead position, the guide-pin is adapted to be shifted, against the action of a restoring force, into the outer terminal position while, when the pair of wheels is pivoted, the guide-pin is shifted into the inner terminal position by the said restoring force.
