ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel transition through a wall separating a hazardous area from a less hazardous area is provided for an electrically traced, insulated conduit. The transition provides continuity of heating and insulation for the conduit while providing electrical isolation between the hazardous and less hazardous areas. The transi- tion also provides mechanical support and protection and allows simple installation of the traced conduit through the wall.
