A carton (10) comprising a sleeve (12) and tray (14) adapted to protect delicate packaged articles, such as computer chips. The tray includes spaced integral tubular supports (30) which contain recesses (32) for receiving the end portions of packaged articles. Each recess has a back wall (44) spaced from side panels (16) and a bottom support shelf (42) spaced from a bottom panel (46), thus creating false walls which support and isolate a packaged article from the outer structure of the carton.

Emballage (10) comportant une enveloppe (12) et un support (14) adaptés pour protéger des articles fragiles conditionnés, par exemple des puces informatiques. Le support comprend des parties tubulaires de maintien (30) formées d'un seul tenant avec le support, espacées les unes des autres et dotées d'évidements (32) aptes à accueillir les extrémités des articles conditionnés.
