L'invention concerne un tapis roulant sans fin comprenant une première couche expansée (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) sans fin en mousse thermoplastique et présentant une face supérieure (25, 26) et une face inférieure (34, 35, 36). Selon l'invention, sur la face inférieure (34, 35, 36) est disposé un premier élément de traction (41, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48) comportant une première couche textile et une face inférieure (54, 56, 58), et entre la première couche expansée (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) sans fin et le premier élément de traction (41, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48), aucune couche ne gêne ou ne rigidifie le déplacement à cisaillement local du premier élément de traction (41, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48) parallèlement à la face inférieure (34, 35, 36).
