The invention concerns a method for treating textile materials providing said textile materials with a soft feel, absence of yellowing and good hydrophily, which consists in contacting the textile materials with a composition comprising at least a linear, cyclic or three-dimensional polyorganosiloxane of formula (I), wherein: the symbols Z, identical or different, represent R?1¿, and/or V; and the symbols V represent a group of sterically hindered piperidinyl function(s).

Procédé de traitement de matières textiles apportant un toucher doux, une absence de jaunissement et une bonne hydrophilie auxdites matières textiles, dans lequel les matières textiles sont mises en contact avec une composition comprenant au moins un polyorganosiloxane linéaire, cyclique ou tridimensionnel de formule (I), dans laquelle les symboles Z, identiques ou différents, représentent R1, et/ou V; et les symboles V représentent un groupement à fonction(s) pipéridinyle(s) stériquement encombrée(s).
