Novel medicinal compositions and a treatment method to be used in photochemotherapy or photodynamic therapy for autoimmune diseases. The above compositions contain mono-L-aspartyl- or mono-L- glutamylchlorin e6 or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, while the above method comprises exposing the vascular blood of a patient containing the above compound to ultraviolet rays or laser beams to thereby photochemically excite the compound. This method is efficacious in reducing autoantibodies in the blood and has a high safety.
L'invention concerne de nouvelles compositions médicinales et un procédé de traitement utiles dans une photochimiothérapie ou une thérapie photodynamique pour traiter des maladies auto-immunes. Les compositions mentionnées renferment du mono-L-chloroaspartyle ou du mono-L-chloroglutamyle e6 ou un de leurs sels pharmaceutiquement acceptable, et le procédé mentionné comprend l'étape consistant à exposer le sang d'un patient contenant le composé mentionné à des rayons ultraviolets ou à des faisceaux laser, en vue d'exciter par ce moyen le composé de façon photochimique. Ce procédé est efficace pour réduire des auto-anticorps présents dans le sang, et présente une sécurité élevée.
