ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a method for producing filling materials from refuse, comprising crushing the refuse, magnetical- ly removing iron, adding a clarifying slurry or water, fraction- ating the mixture into constituents of varying sizes and ferment- ing the mixture whilst supplying oxygen thereby to produce a compost, mixing the compost And a solvent in a ratio of 1 to 2 to 1 to 4 with heating and agitation, allowing the resultant mixture to mature and subsequently evaporating the solvent so as to dry the mixture, and mixing the dry mixture with 2-3 chloro-paraffin and 1-3% antimony tridioxide with heating so as to produce a dry filler material. The filling material is useful for incorporation into resins for producing moulded bodies such as stones, panels, pipes and prefabricated slabs, in particular for hydraulic engineering and hydroeconomy.
