ABREGE DESCRIPTIF L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour le traitement des effluents contenant des encres notamment des encres à l'eau, par séparation , en vue d'obtenir d'un côté des boues contenant les encres et de l'autre côté l'effluent clarifié. Selon l'invention on effectue une floculation de l'effluent par action d'un agent floculant suivi d'une centrifugation de l'effluent en continu consistant en une accélération comprise entre 1 000 et 20 000 g tout en évitant un interface air-liquide au cours de la centrifu- gation. Application de l'invention au traitement des effluents contenant des encres à l'eau, des papeteries, cartonneries, sacheries.
