ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved tree delimbing apparatus comprising a base with a tree gripping unit thereon and a telescopic boom with a tree delimbing unit at one end. The boom is mounted on the base and a motor is provided for moving the boom relative to the base. In addition, a cable-assembly is provided for automatically extending or retracting the boom as it is moved relative to the base. The tree delimbing unit employs two delimbing arms pivotally moved by a single actuator and a link system.
