ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A tree harvester comprises a head boom at the lower free end of which is mounted a tree felling head having a cylindrical cutting knife behind which is formed a storage enclosure for felled trees. The head includes pivotable gripping arms for pressing the cylindrical knife against the trees to be felled and for moving them and holding them in the storage enclosure.
