ABSTRACT In business boxes are used for the purpose of transporting various types and grades of paper to recycling facilities. For the average person however there is no convenient method for the packaging and transporting of household refuse such as newspaper. In this invention the box is modified to allow for a convenient and efficient method of readying newspaper for the recycling depot. The box comes with string which is used to tie the bundles when the box has been filled. The string rests in a slotted base and is pulled up at the sides. At the top of each side a clip is provided to hold the string in place until the box is filled. The clips are made of cardboard with a wide opening which narrows. The string should become tight and secured as it is pulled down the narrowing portion of the clip. Once the string has been installed and secured the box can be filled with newspaper. When full the string is pulled out of the clips and tied, thus forming a bundle of newspapers ready to be transported to a recycling depot.
