A power line for an electrical submersible pump has three metallic impermeable tube (35). A single electrical conductor (28) is located within each of the tubes. Each conductor has at least one elastomeric insulation layer (30) surrounding it. An annular portion of the insulation layer of each of the electrical conductors is in tight contact with the tube to form a seal . The annular portions may be annular crimps (37) formed in the tube at intervals. The annular portion could also be a continuous seal caused by swelling of the insulation layer due to contact with a hydrocarbon.
Selon la présente invention, une ligne électrique pour pompe submersible électrique comprend trois tubes imperméables métalliques (35). Un seul conducteur électrique (28) se trouve au sein de chacun desdits tubes. Chaque conducteur présente au moins une couche d'isolation élastomère (30) entourant ledit conducteur. Une partie annulaire de la couche d'isolation de chacun des conducteurs électriques est en contact étroit avec le tube de manière à former un joint. Les parties annulaires peuvent constituer des sertissures annulaires (37) formées dans le tube à certains intervalles. La partie annulaire pourrait, également, être un joint continu engendré par le gonflement de la couche d'isolation en raison d'un contact avec un hydrocarbure.
