ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Condensation products of cyanuric chloride, resorcinol and ammonia of the formula: Image (1) in which n is an integer; each R1 is independently NH2 or C1 and each R" is independently NH2 or Image (2) provided that a sufficient member of radical represented by R' and C1 atoms to provide a chlorine content of at least 3% by weight and at least one of R' and R" is NH2; their manufacture and their use as promoters of bond strength between rubber and copper or its alloys. Of particular use in connection with brass-coated steel cords in motor tyres.
