ABSTRACT Novel biocidal compounds of the formula: Image (I) wherein R1 is phenyl; naphthyl; a phenyl radical which is monosubstituted, disubstituted or trisubstituted by halogen, phenyl, nitro, cyano, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, phenoxy, N(C1-C4-alkyl)2 or C1-C4-alkylthio, multiple substituent being identical or different; an optionally chlorine-substituted C1-C10-alkyl radical; an optionally C1-C4-alkyl-substituted or phenyl-substituted C3-C7- cycloalkyl radical; or an-NR2R3 group; in which R2 is hydrogen or C1-10 alkyl; and R3 is C1-C4-alkyl, phenyl or a phenyl radical which is monosubstituted, di- substituted or trisubstituted by halogen, nitro, trifluoromethyl, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxy, multiple substituents being identical or different; R4 is phenyl; a phenyl radical which is substituted by 1 or 2 halogen atoms, or by a phenyl group or a nitro group; a C1-C10-alkyl radical; an alkenyl radical with up to 10 C atoms; a C1-C10-alkyl radical which is substituted by one or two phenyl radicals (which can optionally be substituted by one or more halogen or nitro groups); or an optionally C1-C4-alkyl-, C2-C4-alkenyl-, benzyl- or phenyl-substituted C3-C7-cycloalkyl radical; X is O or S; and Y is CH or N are disclosed. The novel compounds I are suitable for use in pest control.
