Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention relates to novel 1,2,4-triazolidine compounds, to a process for producing them, to their use for controlling vegetable and animal pests in agriculture, and to compositions, which contain these novel 1,2,4- triazolidine compounds as active substance. The 1,2,4-triazolidine compounds correspond to formula Image wherein aryl is an aryl group other than benzene, and Y is an oxygen or sulphur atom.
