TRIFOCAL MIRROR-REFLECTOR Abstract of the Disclosure A compound reflector having a cross section in the form of a trifocal reflector is disclosed. The cross section of the compound reflector comprises a first reflector section formed along an arc of a first ellipse and a second reflector section formed along an arc of a second ellipse. Both ellipses share a common focal point which may be either the proximal or distal focal points of each reflector section.
