A trigger actuated pump sprayer has a coaxial elongated stem within the discharge barrel of the sprayer extending at its downstream end into a fixed discharge nozzle and extending at its opposite end outwardly of the pump body. Acontrol knob or handle in engagement with the opposing end of the stem, accessible externally of the pump package, is provided for regulating the discharge pattern upon rotating the stem or shifting the stem axially relative to the fixed nozzle.
