A novel triketone derivative having specific formulas [I-1] and [II-1] where in formula [I-1], R represents a methyl group, X and Y are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or the like, M represents a halogen atom, an alkali metal or the like, R4 represents a halogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and m is an integer of 0 to 4 and, in formula [II-1], R represents a methyl group, X is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or the like, G represents 3 to 5 ring-constituting atoms which form, together with two carbon atoms of an adjacent benzene ring, a 5 to 7-membered saturated or unsaturated condensed ring, Z1 represents a halogen atom or the like, m is an integer of 0 to 4 and q is 1 or 2; and a herbicide containing the same as an effective component. The herbicide has great utility as an efficient herbicide against weeds inhibiting the growth or development of a plant being cultured, particularly lowland weeds such as E. ulilis (Japanese Millet) and S. juncoides.
La présente invention concerne un dérivé de tricétone de formules spécifiques (I-1) et (II-1). Dans la formule (I-1) R représente un groupe méthyle, X et Y sont chacun un atome d'hydrogène, un atome d'halogène ou un analogue équivalent, M représente un atome d'halogène, un métal alcalin ou un atome équivalent, R?4¿ représente un atome d'halogène ou un groupe alkyle possédant de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, et m est un entier de 0 à 4 et, dans la formule (II-1), R représente un groupe méthyle, X est un atome d'hydrogène, un atome d'halogène ou un atome équivalent, G représente 3 à 5 atomes de cycle qui forment ensemble, avec deux atomes de carbone d'un cycle benzénique adjacent, un cycle condensé, saturé ou insaturé, de 5 à 7 éléments, Z?1¿ représente un atome d'halogène ou un atome équivalent, m est un entier de 0 à 4 et q prend la valeur 1 ou 2. L'invention concerne aussi un herbicide qui contient un de ces dérivés comme composant efficace. L'herbicide présente une grande utilité contre des mauvaises herbes qui inhibent la croissance ou le développement de plantes cultivées, particulièrement contre des mauvaises herbes de basse plaine telles que E. ulilis (millet japonais) et S. juncoides.
