A trim clip (100) is provided having a "U" shape configuration comprising a pair of spaced-apart substantially parallel legs (4) and (4'). Legs (4) and (4') respectively includes resilient fingers (12) and (12') that extend outwardly away from the side of legs (4) and (4') facing away from each other in a direction towards the open-end of clip (100). Fingers (12) and (12') are adapted to secure clip (100) to a vehicular body panel or frame and legs (4) and (4') respectively include at least one barb (14) and (14') that respectively extend away from the side of legs (4) and (4') facing toward each other and are adapted to penetrate and secure the trim to the clip and thus to the body panel or frame.
