ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A jet pump propulsion personal watercraft has an internal duct in which an impeller drives the water through a rear outlet. The emerging water passes through a nozzle that can be pivoted about a generally vertical axis to effect steering control. Trim control of the watercraft is effected by arranging for the jet emerging from the nozzle to be directed selectively upwardly or downwardly with respect to the horizontal.
