A door module assembly for a motor vehicle door has a plate-like carrier holding a plurality of door hardware components in a pre-configured orientation, including one or more window regulator rails. The carrier seals the motor vehicle door and includes a flap that provides at least partial access to the window regulator rails. A first trim panel is pre-fixed to the carrier. A second trim panel articulates with respect to the first trim panel between an initial position generally parallel to the first trim panel and an installed position generally in-line with the first trim panel. With the carrier storing substantially all of the hardware required for the door and the trim panels covering substantially the entire surface area of the door, handling and assembly operations are minimized.
La présente invention a trait à un assemblage de module de portière pour une portière de véhicule automobile comportant un support en forme de plateau portant une pluralité de composants de quincaillerie de portière dans une orientation préalablement configurée, comprenant une ou deux glissières de lève-vitres. Le support scelle la portière du véhicule automobile et comporte un volet qui assure l'accès au moins partiel aux glissières de lève-vitres. Un premier panneau de garnissage est fixé préalablement au support. Un deuxième panneau de garnissage est articulé par rapport au premier panneau de garnissage entre une position initiale globalement parallèle au premier panneau de garnissage et une position installée globalement en ligne avec le premier panneau de garnissage. Etant donné que le support contient tous les composants de quincaillerie nécessaires à la portière et les panneaux de garnissage recouvrent sensiblement toute la superficie de la portière, les opérations de manipulation et d'assemblage sont minimisées.
