ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A trim for an automobile comprising a plastic substrate, a metal layer integrally laminated on a surface of the plastic substrate, and a film of a soft PVC resin composition having a matt finish and integrally laminated on the metal layer, the PVC resin composition comprising a PVC resin having a viscometric degree of polymerization, ?, of 2,000 to 5,000 and 20 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts of the PVC resin of a calcium carbonate filler. The trim prevents vibrational noise, glare and scratching and corrosion of the automobile body. The metal layer can be wholly or partially covered with the matt PVC resin composition for a decorative effect.
