An aromatic polyester film made of an aromatic polyester comprising 2,6- napthalenedicarboxylic acid as the main dicarboxylic acid component and 1,3- propanediol as the main diol component, and having a density of at least 1.310 g/cm3. This aromatic polyester film can be processed together with other polyester layer(s) into a laminate film. An aromatic polyester containing at a small ratio a quaternary phosphonium sulfonate which is employed one of the aromatic polyesters constituting the above film is excellent in the electrostatic cast performance and resistance against electrostatic wire stains. An aromatic polyester containing an inorganic antibacterial agent is usable for antibacterial purposes.
La présente invention concerne un film en polyester aromatique comprenant un l'acide 2,6-naphtalène dicarboxylique comme composant d'acide dicarboxylique principal et un1,3-propanediol comme composant diol principal, et ayant une densité d'au moins 1,310 g/cm?3¿. Ce film en polyester aromatique peut être transformé en film laminé avec une ou plusieurs autres couches de polyester. L'invention concerne un polyester aromatique renfermant une faible dose de sulfonate de phosphonium quaternaire, qui présente d'excellentes caractéristiques pour le moulage électrostatique et une résistance élevée aux taches provoquées par des fils électrostatiques. Un polyester aromatique contenant un agent antibactérien inorganique peut être utilisé à des fins de lutte antibactérienne.
