ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes a trimming and emptying device for bulk material in a cartage or storage room comprising at least one raking device, which in use moves the bulk material in one of the main directions of the room, and which is moveable transversally of the direction of motion of the bulk material along vertically moveable guide beams. The guide beams are associated with guides which are formed substantially after the cross-sectional outline of the room, and are extensible for automatic adaptation to varying width of the room in the vertical direction.
