TRIOLS CONTAINING HYDANTOIN RINGS Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to new triols of the formula Image wherein R1 and R2 denote hydrogen, methyl, ethyl or isobutyl, or together denote tetramethylene or pentamethylene, R3 denotes hydrogen or methyl, and R4 denotes hydrogen or methyl or ethyl. The new triols are useful for the manufacture of alkyl resins and polyurethanes having high glass transition temperatures.
