TRIPLE LAP HARDBOARD SIDING Abstract of the Disclosure A triple lap siding panel is machined from a standard wide lap panel to give the appearance of narrow lap natural wood siding or actual drop siding cut from 3/4" lumber. The panel for simulating narrow lap siding is of a bevel configur- ation having opposed first and second surfaces. The panel includes a plurality of inclined cuts and vertical cuts sub- dividing the panel into three lap portions. The panel for simulating actual drop siding includes a plurality of arcuate cuts and vertical cuts that subdivide each panel into three lap portions. For each type of panel the leading end of one panel is adapted to cooperate with the trailing end of another panel to form a continuous lap siding.
