A triple layer woven industrial fabric, particularly suitable for through-air drying applications, has a paper side (PS) layer and a machine side (MS) layer of polymeric warp and weft yarns woven to a repeat pattern wherein all the warp yarns are arranged as vertically stacked pairs, all the weft yarns comprise pairs of intrinsic weft binder yarns, and for each pair of weft yarns, when either the first or second member of the pair passes from the PS layer to the MS layer, the other member of the pair passes from the MS layer to the PS layer at an exchange point located between at least one common pair of warp yarns. The weave patterns provide fabrics having a significantly increased open area, resulting in improved sheet drying properties, without reduction in dimensional stability, stretch resistance and seam strength.

Un textile triple couche à usage technique, notamment approprié pour des applications de séchage par air traversant, comprend une couche côté papier (CP) et une couche côté machine (CM) de fils polymères de chaîne et de trame tissés avec un motif récurrent dans lequel les fils de chaîne sont disposés sous forme de paires empilées verticalement, tous les fils de trame comprenant des paires de fils de liage de trame intrinsèques, et chaque paire de fils de trame formant un chemin de trame ininterrompu aussi bien dans la couche CP que dans la couche CM, de sorte que lorsque le premier ou le deuxième élément de la paire passe de la couche CP à la couche CM, l'autre élément de la paire passe de la couche CM à la couche CP au niveau d'un point d'échange situé entre au moins une paire commune de fils de chaîne.
