The present invention is a triple port, and quadruple port header assembly (10) of an implanting tissue stimulator, such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, or nerve stimulator wherein three of more sensing, and/or pacing leads (60) may be coupled thereto. Ports of the header assembly (14, 16, 18) receive the terminal end of corresponding leads, wherein each port has two terminal blocks positioned therein which are adapted for coupling a pin, and/or ring of the terminal end of the corresponding lead. Feedthrough wires (44, 46) electrically couple the terminal blocks to the electronic circuit of the implanting tissue stimulator. Jumper wires electrically couple the terminal blocks of at least two ports thereby electrically coupling the corresponding pins, and/or rings (70) of at least two leads contained therein.

La présente invention concerne un ensemble collecteur (10) à trois et quatre ports pour un stimulateur tissulaire implantable tel qu'un stimulateur cardiaque, un défibrillateur, ou un stimulateur nerveux. Il est possible de coupler à ce collecteur trois fils de dérivation (60) de détection et/ou de stimulation. Les ports de l'ensemble collecteur (14, 16, 18) reçoivent les extrémités à bornes des fils de dérivation correspondants, chaque port accueillant intérieurement deux blocs de bornes conçus pour le couplage d'une broche et/ou d'un oeillet de borne du fil de dérivation correspondant. Des fils de traversée (44, 46) couplent électriquement les blocs de bornes au circuit électronique du stimulateur tissulaire implantable. Des bretelles permettent le raccordement électrique des blocs de bornes d'au moins deux ports, assurant par là-même le raccordement électrique des broches et/ou des oeillets correspondants (70) d'au moins deux fils de dérivation qui y sont contenus.
