ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Tris(disubstituted amino)sulfonium perfluoroalkoxides and tris(disubstituted amino)sulfonium perfluoroalkyl-mercaptides and their preparation are disclosed. Such compounds are of the formula Image wherein each R is alkyl or defined cycloalkyl, each Rf is perfluoroalkyl or perfluorocycloalkyl and Q is O or S. The compounds are useful as intermediates in the preparation of fluorine-containing organic compounds, and are very soluble in many polar organic solvents without decomposition.
