[PROBLEMS] To provide: a black compound which is for use in ink-jet recording or writing utensils, is excellent in ozone resistance, light resistance, moisture resistance, and color rendering, and gives a recording fluid having satisfactory storage stability; and an ink composition containing the compound. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The black compound is a trisazo compound represented by the following formula (1) or a salt thereof. (1) [In the formula (1), R1 and R2 each independently represents hydrogen, carboxy, sulfo, hydroxy, a C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, or sulfo group optionally substituted by C1-4 alkoxy, an optionally carboxylated C1-4 alkoxy group, etc.; and A represents phenyl or naphthyl (provided that the phenyl and naphthyl groups may be substituted by halogeno, carboxy, sulfo, sulfamonyl optionally substituted by alkyl or phenyl, nitro, etc.).]
L'invention concerne l'obtention d'un composé noir destiné à être utilisé dans des moyens d'impression ou d'écriture par jet d'encre, présentant une excellente résistance à la lumière, une excellente résistance à l'humidité, et un excellent rendu des couleurs, le composé permettant d'obtenir un liquide d'impression possédant une stabilité au stockage satisfaisante ; ainsi qu'une composition d'encre contenant ce composé. Le composé noir est un composé trisazo représenté par la formule générale (1) ou un sel de ce composé. [Dans la formule générale (1), R?1¿ et R?2¿ désignent chacun un groupe hydrogène, carboxy, sulfo, hydroxy, alkyle C¿1-4?, alcoxy C¿1-4?, ou un groupe sulfo éventuellement substitué par un alcoxy C¿1-4?, un groupe alcoxy C¿1-4? carboxylé, etc. ; et A désigne un groupe phényle ou naphtyle (à condition que les groupes phényle et naphtyle puissent être substitués par un halogéno, un carboxy, un sulfo, un sulfamonyle éventuellement substitué par un alkyle ou un phényle, un nitro, etc.).]
