Trocar for use in coelioscopies and similar operations comprising a hollow outer tube (1) in which is exactly engaged a device (2) for perforating the anatomical membrane protecting the tissues and organs to be viewed or operated. The trocar is characterized in that said perforating device (2) is formed by a hollow tube (3) having at its distal end a polyhedral point (4) with recessed surfaces (4a &cir& _) for either direct viewing of the path of the tip (4) by means of an endoscope engaged for this purpose in the proximal portion of said perforating device (2), or for the insertion of an inner protecting device (5, 50) coaxially and elastically actuated in the direction of said point (4), through at least one of the latter's surfaces (4a &cir& _).
