An improvement to patent no. PCT/FR 95/01157 relating to a trolley for serving hot and cold meal trays, which trolley provides reheating and refrigeration, has a self-contained store of negative kilocalories and enables negative kilocalorie regeneration, is disclosed. The trolley comprises an insulated housing (2) containing the meal trays (3) and consisting of a permanent refrigeration area (4) and a mixed area (5) for reheating. Refrigeration is provided by two cold-transfer fluid stores (7, 7'), one for the permanent refrigeration area and one for the mixed area, in which the condensers (11) of two heat pipes are immersed, while their respective evaporators (12) enable the two areas to be cooled separately by means of turbines (13, 14) ventilating the negative kilocalories on the meal trays. An electric valve (15) is used to retain the fluid inside the condenser during reheating in the mixed (cold then hot) area. Said trolley is useful for serving meal trays that include one part with hot food and another with cold food and must be kept at a low temperature while the appropriate part of the tray is reheated prior to serving the hot food.
La présente invention a pour objet un perfectionnement au brevet PCT/FR 95/01157 concernant un chariot mobile distributeur de plateaux-repas chauds et froids à remise en température et réfrigération à réserve autonome de frigories et régénération de frigories. Ce chariot comporte une enceinte isolante (2) contenant les plateaux-repas (3), formée d'une zone de réfrigération permanente (4) et d'une zone mixte (5) à remise en température. La réfrigération est assurée par deux réserves (7, 7') de liquide frigorigène, une pour la zone de réfrigération permanente et une pour la zone mixte, dans lesquelles baignent les condenseurs (11) de deux caloducs dont les évaporateurs (12) respectifs permettent de refroidir indépendamment les deux zones au moyen de turbines (13, 14) ventilant les frigories sur les plateaux- repas, une électro-vanne (15) permettant de bloquer le fluide à l'intérieur du condenseur lors de la remise en température de la zone mixte (zone froide, puis chaude). Il est destiné à la distribution de plateaux-repas comportant une partie avec mets chauds et une partie avec mets froids, et devant être maintenus à basse température en attendant que la partie du plateau adéquate soit remise en température pour la consommation des mets chauds.
