ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A mudguard mount for use with a tractor/trailer includes an arm extending outwardly from the frame of the tractor and connected to the trailing end of the mudguard; a second arm extending outwardly from the frame above the leading end of the mudguard, such second arm being connected to the leading end of the mudguard by springs. The springs normally hold the mudguard in a rest position. When the vehicle hits a bump, downward movement of the trailer against the mudguard results in a corresponding downward movement of the mudguard against the bias of the springs. When the trailer returns to its normal rest position above the mudguard, the springs return the mudguard to its rest position.
