GOK 103-095 TRUNNION LINER ASSEMBLY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The trunnions for a grinding mill wherein material to be reduce within the mill passes axially through an inlet trunnion and after reduction passes through an outlet trunnion are provided with hardened lines to line the inner surface of the trunnions as a protection against the abrasive action of the traveling material. The subject trunnion liner system makes use of a spilt taper clamp ring to retain the annular trunnion liner in centered, axially positioned relation within the body of the trunnion.
