Identification of the genes controlling the seed coat color is essential to the manipulation of these genes to develop new yellow-seeded germplasm for oilseed breeding The Brassica rapa Transparent Testa Glabra (TTG1) and Transparent Testa (TT1) genes may be used to control seed coat color in Brassica plants.
