TITLE A TUBE BORE LOCATING, TUBESHEET TRAVERSING DEVICE INVENTOR Cyril J. Astill ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tube bore locating, tubesheet traversing device is provided having three studded wheels in a carriage tripod fashion and which tra- verse a tubeplate by the studs locating in the bores of tubes in the tubeplate. A tool mounting arm is provided spring loaded against the carriage which slides along a rail. The rail is supported pivotally by a shaft and inclined strut which are movable vertically, by means of a hydraulic lift, to engage at least one tool mounting spider with tube ends or, in the lower portion disengage the tool mounting spider so that the carriage and the tool mounting arm can be relocated on the tubeplate.
