Tube nest for a steam condenser for which, in the plane perpendicular to the axis of the tubes, the outline of the part of the shell that contains tubes, is in the shape of radiating spikes (6; 10 to 18); it is characterized by the fact that at least some of the spikes (6; 10 to 13) have at least one branch (8, 9; 28, 29; 32 to 35; 46, 47, 48, 49) and that the said radiating spikes radiate from a cased surface which forms an essentially circular ring (22).
