TUBE EXPANDER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tube expander of the roller and mandrel type for ex- panding tubes within tube sheets having a housing assembly which includes a bearing mounted stop collar having a plurality of load-absorbing fingers provided with arcuate faces for limit- ing the axial position assumed by the tube relative to the tube sheet during the expansion of the tube. The arrangement in- cludes a provision for predimensioning the portion of the tube which is ultimately to be exposed from the tube sheet whereby spacer members of selected thicknesses may be removed and in- stalled on site.
