A tube guard system is provided for use in a flourescent light fixture and comprises at least one lamp assembly. The lamp assembly further comprises a lamp having two ends and having at least one terminal at each end, a sleeve having two ends and surrounding the lamp, and an end cap having a concentric opening formed thereupon affixed to each end of the sleeve whereby the terminals protrude through the openings in the end caps. A pair of lampholders affixed to the fixture receive each lamp used in the fixture whereby the terminals are placed in contacting relation with the lampholders. Lampholders are mounted to lampholder saddles, as desired, which are in turn mounted to the light fixture.
On présente un système de garde-tube destiné à un luminaire fluorescent et qui comprend au moins un ensemble à lampe. L'ensemble à lampe comprend en outre une lampe dotée de deux extrémités et d'au moins une borne à chaque extrémité, un manchon à deux extrémités entourant la lampe et un capuchon d'extrémité ayant une ouverture concentrique formée sur celui-ci et fixée à chaque extrémité du manchon, lesdites bornes faisant saillie à travers les ouvertures dans les capuchons d'extrémité. Une paire de supports à lampe fixés au luminaire reçoivent chaque lampe utilisée dans le luminaire, les bornes étant placées dans une relation de contact avec les supports à lampe. Les supports à lampe sont montés aux sellettes des supports à lampe, comme souhaité, qui sont à leur tour fixés au luminaire.
